Brookfield Farm 2024 Annual Seedling Sale, Saturday, May 18 and Sunday May19, 9 AM-1 PM

Explore the captivating worlds of mystery and wonder in this exhibition featuring highlights from the Norman Rockwell Museum’s Permanent Collection, which now holds almost 25,000 illustrations by prominent artists working across genres and time periods. On display are cover art for award-winning novels and mysteries, children’s book illustrations inspired by classic tales, fantastical anthropomorphic drawings, and heart-stopping editorial images.

Springfest is an annual music festival featuring performances by students and ensembles of the Northampton Community Music Center at various sites along Main Street! We are very excited to celebrate our 30th anniversary of this beloved event <3
The festival will kick off at Pulaski Park at 10am, with guest speaker Lindsay Sabadosa before the Pioneer Valley New Horizons Band.At 11, performances will begin at Northampton City Hall and outside First Churches, in addition to ongoing performances at Pulaski Park. The public is welcome to wander between the three venues to hear a variety of the fantastic music that we have to share; jazz, soul, classical, pop, rock, blues, and more!

William Baczek Fine Arts, in Northampton, Massachusetts is proud to announce the opening of a group exhibition titled Masters of Realism. Ten of the most prominent realist painters from across the United States will be exhibiting work for the exhibition. Participating artists are Julie Beck, Matthew Cornell, Gregory Gillespie, Jeff Gola, Jane Lund, Rick Pas, Larry Preston, Scott Prior, Eric Wert, and Yin Yong Chun. The exhibition will be on display from Wednesday, May 1 through Saturday, June 15, 2024. The public is invited to an opening reception on Saturday, May 4 from 4 to 6 p.m.

We invite you to a special exhibit featuring a variety of pieces created by JFK Middle School 6th through 8th grade art students. Over 400 expressive works in ceramic, sculpture, printmaking, painting, and design will be showcased!
Lisa Gutkin will teach a klezmer tune with a focus on ornamentation, phrasing and accompaniment.This is a participatory class for musicians of all levels, listeners, folks who know the music and folks who are just curious. Audience members are welcome to participate with instruments, voice, clapping or foot tapping. Or to simply sit back and enjoy!
Join artist Joan Hall for a drop-in workshop focusing on collage techniques and composition. Learn about Hall’s collage practice and try your hand at creating your own unique collage.
